Info

The Lighthouse Keeper is a visual interpretation of Hermann Hesses poetry, designed as a hand-bound, three-part zine exploring love, hardship, and hope. Each poem is expressed through typographic composition and spatial rhythmtext moves like waves, shifting in scale, density, and alignment to mirror emotional intensity. I curated 18 spreads in total, layering gradients, noise textures, and type distortion to visualize motion and time. The color system transitions from deep ocean blues to bright yellow light, symbolizing clarity emerging from solitude. Printed on matte paper with translucent inserts and stitched binding, the piece reads like a meditative sequencea quiet navigation between darkness and discovery.
